GJEPC Engages Global Stakeholders at Paris Round table on KIMBERLEY PROCESS

GJEPC participated in a closed-door outreach session in Paris hosted by UFBJOP, bringing Kimberley Process (KP) leadership into direct dialogue with leading luxury jewellery maisons. Held under the Chatham House Rule, the session highlighted the KP’s role in sourcing integrity, brand risk mitigation and consumer trust.

The panel featured Ms. Feriel Zerouki, President, World Diamond Council (WDC); Mr. Stéphane Fischler, Former President, WDC; Mr. Anoop Mehta, Convenor – Diamond Panel, GJEPC; Mr. Ahmed Bin Sulayem, CEO, DMCC & Former KP Chair; and Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC & Deputy Advisor to KP Chair.

Discussions covered the KP’s framework and India’s 2026 Chairmanship priorities centered on the “3Cs” – Credibility, Compliance and Confidence, focusing on strengthening certification integrity, addressing financial risks and enhancing consumer communication.
