Global Gems and Jewellery industry have only one destination: Hong Kong JGW September Organised by Informa Markets, JGW September (Jewellery & Gem World September) brings together 3,000+ exhibitors from 40+ countries and regions, all showcasing the collections that will define retail displays worldwide. This is the trade’s ultimate B2B sourcing destination: Six specialised buying experiences where attendees move beyond restocking to source what is launching next. From 14 − 18 September at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), three co-located fairs spotlight precious materials: Gemstones (Halls 3, 6, 8 & 10), Diamonds & Fine Gems (Halls 5, 7 & 9) and Pearls+ (Halls 9 & 11). Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will host three shows from 16 − 20 September dedicated to finished jewellery, packaging solutions, tools & equipment and jewellery technology. These are Hong Kong (Hall 1), International (Halls 3 & 5) and Fine Design (Grand Hall), which displays jewellery creations with rare and investment-quality gems. Together, the two venues offer a complete view of the supply chain, from raw materials to retail-ready pieces. Online pre-registration is now open and remains available until 6 September. See more, know more What makes JGW September special is the energy and the thrill of discovery − both on the show floor and through a content programme that celebrates the very best of the industry. For Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets, the case for attending in person is clear: “You can’t judge a gemstone from a photo on a screen − the colour shifts in different light, the clarity reveals itself only in person. That’s why being at the fair matters. You are not only sourcing product, but you are also reading the room, seeing what is getting attention, what is selling out and picking up on trends before they hit the mainstream.” But the value extends far past the aisles. This year’s content programme is designed to sharpen that competitive edge. The inaugural NextGen Coloured Gem Excellence Awards by JWA (Jewellery World Awards) will spotlight the rising talent redefining the industry. The GEM+ Conference brings together leading voices in the coloured gemstone sector to explore innovation, sustainability and shifting market dynamics. Throughout the show, industry leaders will lead sessions offering actionable insights on sourcing strategy, market positioning and regional trade collaboration, as well as product-focused topics including pearl heritage and sustainability, Fei Cui (jadeite) and diamonds. “The programme is designed to give you an advantage,” Lau added. “Whether you are discovering the next breakout collection or learning from the best minds in the business, that combination of product and knowledge is what makes JGW September worth the trip.” The timing amplifies that value even further. According to Allen Xiang, General Manager for Jewellery at Informa Markets, September occupies a uniquely strategic position in the global buying calendar. “September sits right between the major global buying cycles,” Xiang explained. “Retailers who come here can lock in inventory for the holiday season while getting early visibility on what will drive sales in 2027. You are also negotiating face-to-face, which changes everything − pricing, terms, exclusivity. Those conversations simply don’t happen remotely.” Fine gems, bold designs Beyond timing and networking opportunities, JGW September delivers on product breadth and quality. The show floor spans every price point and category across two venues, allowing buyers to build a complete sourcing strategy in one trip. From botanical artistry to vivid colour statements, here are some unmissable highlights that surprise and inspire. Nature has long been the jewellery industry’s most enduring muse. From avian and marine life to floral motifs, exhibitors are translating these natural elements into wearable art. Among the many collections making their debut at JGW September, several standout pieces exemplify this trend: Johosa Jewelry’s conch-inspired brooch adorned with cabochon opals and rose-cut fancy sapphires; Yue Ding Jewelry’s brooch/earrings resembling miniature bouquets with tsavorite and spinel taking centre stage, and Hodel (Hong Kong) Limited’s “The Royal Macaw” high jewellery pendant featuring a South Sea Keshi pearl naturally shaped like the bird itself. In addition to nature-inspired designs, JGW September will feature exceptionally rare inventory in fancy colour diamonds. LJ West Diamonds Inc, renowned globally for sourcing some of the most extraordinary diamonds, will introduce one-of-a-kind pieces including a platinum ring centred with a 5-carat pear-shaped natural chameleon green diamond. Antwerp Cut (HK) Limited, which follows the philosophy that excellence is achieved not by doing more but by doing everything correctly, is unveiling orange, blue, green and Argyle pink diamonds for discerning buyers seeking majestic gems. AV Globale Pte Ltd will present a striking natural yellow diamond collection, while Dehres spotlights rings with exceptional fancy colour diamond centre stones that command attention. Coloured gemstones are once again among the stars of JGW September, with a wealth of exceptional pieces to discover. On Tung Company, one of Hong Kong’s premier Burmese jadeite specialists, brings five decades of expertise in sourcing and craftsmanship, creating masterpieces for discerning collectors and leading auction houses worldwide. Veerasak Gems brings to market investment-grade rubies, expertly hand-cut in-house with over 40 years of craftsmanship, while P.V. Gems specialises in rare Colombian emeralds and exceptional sapphires. Sukhadia Stones debuts its finest ruby and sapphire finds, including a cabochon sapphire weighing over 60 carats that is completely natural and untreated.
