GET-Diamonds inks pact with technology provider Lucy platforms. A year after its launch, the B2B e-commerce diamond trading site GET-Diamonds.com has signed a new long-term agreement with high-tech company Lucy Platforms. GET-Diamonds.com is owned by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB). According to the agreement Lucy will use its proprietary AI-based technology to enhance the design and functionality of GET-Diamonds.com, ensuring that the diamond trading platform is even more powerful, feature-rich, and user-friendly. Moreover, Lucy will develop a unique range of features on GET, which will be launched in the near future. This pact represents a unique collaboration between two important but very different types of organizations: WFDB, the umbrella association of diamond bourses and the foremost representative of this industry, and Lucy Platforms, a disruptive, vibrant, and creative technology company. The two parties believe that this collaboration will yield important benefits to the diamond industry as a whole. “This new agreement is a very important milestone for GET-Diamonds. While we are very proud of what we have achieved so far in such a short amount of time, the new agreement means that GET will always be on the cutting-edge of technology. We are certain that this will make trading on GET even more attractive and beneficial for users,” said Yoram Dvash, President of the WFDB and of GET-Diamonds. GET-Diamonds was launched by the WFDB in April 2020 as a non-profit organization committed to serving the industry. Its motto is “By the industry, For the industry,” and profits generated by the site will be invested in projects that benefit the industry, including generic diamond marketing. Since its inception, GET-Diamonds has quickly grown to be one of the largest diamond trading sites, listing over 1.3 million diamonds, with a total value of over $5.8 billion. Lucy Platforms, founded in 2017, has developed a unique B2B e-commerce platform specifically for the diamond industry, based on artificial intelligence (AI). The unique platform is built to assist traders in creating, managing, and scaling their online presence, with a sharp focus on user experience, big data analytics, and security.
