Kalamandir Jewellers has unveiled India’s largest Platinum Jewellery PGI Experience Zone at its new flagship store in Vadodara, creating a dedicated destination for consumers to explore platinum jewellery across designs, occasions and price points. The launch strengthens the visibility of platinum jewellery in Gujarat and complements Platinum Guild International’s (PGI) ongoing efforts to build awareness and appreciation for the metal through consumer education, design innovation and marketing. Housed over more than 1,000 square-feet, the new zone features a wide assortment from Men of Platinum, Platinum Evara and Platinum Love Bands, including chains, bracelets, kadas, couple bands, neckwear and bangles. The collections cater to a range of needs, from everyday wear and gifting to celebrations and relationship milestones. For Kalamandir Jewellers, the Vadodara flagship marks an important step in strengthening its presence in its home market of Gujarat. It also expands the jeweller’s platinum offering by giving the category greater space, visibility and variety. Kalamandir Jewellers already has dedicated Platinum Experience Zones across six of its stores. The new Vadodara flagship takes this further with its largest Platinum Experience Zone to date, expanding access to platinum jewellery in one of the brand’s key markets. Milan Shah – Director, Kalamandir Jewellers, shares, “At Kalamandir, we have always believed that the jewellery purchase should be an experience in itself. With platinum, we can connect with a new generation of younger consumers who are looking for jewellery that carries personal meaning and reflects who they are. Our focused approach to the category began with our first Platinum Experience Zone at Ahmedabad, and in Vadodara we have taken that thinking further. From the assortment we have curated, to the way the space is designed and serviced, every element has been shaped around the expectations of our clientele. For us, platinum is an experience-led purchase, and this zone is about giving consumers the choice, environment and level of service that such a purchase deserves.” Designed to make browsing more experience-led, the Platinum Experience Zone uses clean architectural lines, premium finishes, soft platinum-inspired tones and focused lighting to distinguish the category within the larger store. Rather than functioning simply as a display counter, the space allows consumers to see the breadth of platinum jewellery together and understand how the category can fit different styles, occasions and budgets. Vaishali Banerjee - Head of Global Market Development and Managing Director - India & Middle East, Platinum Guild International elaborated: “Consumers are at the heart of everything we do at PGI. We have shared a long-standing association with Kalamandir Jewellers, which has consistently championed the platinum category and helped bring it closer to younger consumers. We congratulate the entire Kalamandir Jewellers team on taking this significant step in Vadodara with the launch of India’s largest Platinum Experience Zone. This concept moves the purchase moment beyond traditional display formats by putting consumer discovery and engagement at its centre. Platinum has a set of truly distinctive attributes, and the product becomes even more meaningful when the purchase experience reflects the same attention to detail and discernment. The new Platinum Experience Zone responds to how young consumers in India increasingly want to engage with jewellery today, and sets an important benchmark for how platinum can be presented at retail.” The assortment at the Platinum Experience Zone reflects how platinum jewellery has expanded beyond a single purchase occasion. Lighter, contemporary pieces offer options for everyday wear and gifting, while bracelets, kadas, bangles, neckwear and couple bands cater to celebrations and milestone purchases. Kalamandir Jewellers will also offer exchange and buyback facilities for platinum jewellery, along with the ‘One India One Price’ proposition, aimed at providing greater consistency and transparency across locations. These services add reassurance by making value, service and post-purchase support part of the overall buying experience.
