MMTC-PAMP, India’s first and only London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) certified Good Delivery refinery for Gold and Silver, announced the appointment of Anika Agarwal as President – Consumer Business. Anika would be responsible for building and delivering the strategy to build the MMTC PAMP’s brand and presence in India across the Physical and Digital spaces. She will report to Vikas Singh, Managing Director, and CEO of MMTC-PAMP. Anika is an experienced sales and marketing leader with a lot of experience across diverse and competitive industries such as Retail, Telecom, and Insurance. Anika has extensive expertise in building strong consumer brands, along with scaling up direct to consumer businesses. She brings her extensive expertise in leveraging technology to allow business growth and offer a superior customer experience. She is also considered to be a people-centric business leader with an emphasis on driving innovation and new ideas.
Anika was recently named Marketer of the Year 2020 by ACEF and Insurance Personality of the year at the 5th India Insurance Summit and Awards. Prior to MMTC-PAMP, Anika worked with Max Bupa Health Insurance, where she has held a variety of leading roles in marketing, digital transformation, direct and digital sales over the last 9 years and contributed significantly in building a number of industry-first digital innovations for the Indian health insurance sector. Prior to Max Bupa, Anika spent nearly 7 years with Nokia Corporation in India, the Middle East and Africa.
Anika is an English Literature graduate from Delhi University and carries an MBA in Marketing and Finance from LBSIM, Delhi.
