GIA Boosts Grading Services with Proprietary Cut Program

GIA Boosts Grading Services with Proprietary Cut Program.GIA laboratory has introduced its Proprietary Cut Program services and clients can participate in it for diamonds with branded cut names. The GIA grading reports generated for stones submitted to under this program will carry information such as the ‘branded name of the proprietary diamond cut with the diamond shape and cutting style description’ as per GIA. There is no extra charge for enhancing the diamond grading report services but there is a process to it.

In order to participate in the program, GIA Clients need to provide supporting documentation and diamond facet arrangement. Without completing the documentation, a GIA client would not be permitted to participate in the program. More information can be derived by the clients from the client services representative.
