Mr. Ahmed Bin Sulayem, the Executive Director & CEO of DMCC met with Mr. Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC and Mr. Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman of GJEPC, in a meeting held at the GJEPC head office in Mumbai on 12th June.
Mr. Shah extended a warm welcome to Mr. Ahmed Bin Sulayem and Special Advisor – Precious Stones, DMCC, Dr. Martin Leake.
Also in attendance were Mr. Ajesh Mehta, Convenor – Diamond Panel, GJEPC; Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC; Mr. Anoop Mehta, President, BDB; and Mr. Mehul Shah, Vice President, BDB. The discussions centred on reinforcing the trade relationship between India and Dubai and the collaborative efforts to boost trade in diamonds, precious metals, and other precious commodities.
The meeting concluded with a positive outlook for continued collaboration between India and the UAE. Mr. Shah thanked Mr. Bin Sulayem and his team for their visit and productive discussions, anticipating a fruitful partnership in the coming years.
