The Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange appointed Abdullah Harmoozi as head of Outreach & Engagement. He will oversee media outreach, engagement, and sales. Also will work in tandem with senior management while communicating the value of DGCX products to current and prospective members.
Mr. Abdullah Harmoozi first joined the DGCX in 2015 as the head of sales for MENA. Apart from this, he played a significant role in DGCX’s efforts for the financial development of the Islamic finance sector in the UAE. Also, he worked with Ayedh Bin Dejem Group, World Gold Council, and various Shari’ah scholars and Islamic financial institutions. He played a key role in the development, launch, and growth of the DGCX’s Shari’ah Compliant Spot Gold contract (DGSG) in 2018.
