On the occasion of the ‘World Diamond Day’ celebration in Bharat Diamond Bourse, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia & British Deputy High Commissioner for Western India, H.E. Mr. Harjinder Kang and his wife visited the Bharat Diamond Bourse.
During the visit, BDB Vice President Mr. Mehul Shah, accompanied by committee members Mr. Jay Parekh and Mr. Harsh Shah, guided the guests through a special exhibition detailing the “evolution of diamonds”. Mr. and Mrs. Kang expressed great interest in the displays and commended the committee on BDB’s continued success as the world’s largest and most secure diamond exchange. In his remarks, Mr. Mehul Shah thanked the Deputy High Commissioner and his wife for his visit and emphasized the strong, enduring relationship between the Indian gem and jewellery fraternity and their counterparts in the United Kingdom.
